No, you don't look pompous! You had that avatar when I first joined, I suppose. I like it!

Do you think people know me as my current one or the self-shot?

I think about half and half. I had my self-shot when I started, but I used this one when I started to post a lot...

Not just for shame, Aigoo. I'll put out for money, clothes, cashews, value meals or college acceptances as well. Just so you know.

It's just this nerdling thing between me and my friends at IMSA. HCO(3)- is just an ion [Hydrogen Carbonate], and looking at HCO just makes us want to make the brand name into an ion. That's it really.

Aigoo, it made me feel so smart that I actually got that when I first saw it. It's one of about two and a half actual scientific facts I've managed to retain after much formal schooling in such matters...

When I first started posting, I definitely associated people with their avatars, which is why I use my own photos, more than not. I was thrown, when Rath changed from Maureen McGovern to whomever. Now, it doesn't bother me. I do wish, however, that everybody would use their own photos.

There's always a theme with me. I tend to bounce between Emcee pix or pretty made-up boys. re: Is it bad that I identify posters by their avatar?

I definetly do identify people by their avatars. I get so confused when people change them.
