No, you don't look pompous! You had that avatar when I first joined, I suppose. I like it!

Do you think people know me as my current one or the self-shot?
I think about half and half. I had my self-shot when I started, but I used this one when I started to post a lot...

Oh, and Catie Elphie, a: A team of environmentalists; b: The communal objective of planting more trees to get a greater emission of carbon dioxide circulation. c: Founded by I.M. Stumpt to counteract the air pollution created by those gassy idle horses lining Central Park.

Posted: 5/31/05 at 1:07amIt's just this nerdling thing between me and my friends at IMSA. HCO(3)- is just an ion [Hydrogen Carbonate], and looking at HCO just makes us want to make the brand name into an ion. That's it really.

Posted: 5/31/05 at 1:50amAigoo, it made me feel so smart that I actually got that when I first saw it. It's one of about two and a half actual scientific facts I've managed to retain after much formal schooling in such matters...

Posted: 5/31/05 at 9:40amWhen I first started posting, I definitely associated people with their avatars, which is why I use my own photos, more than not. I was thrown, when Rath changed from Maureen McGovern to whomever. Now, it doesn't bother me. I do wish, however, that everybody would use their own photos.

There's always a theme with me. I tend to bounce between Emcee pix or pretty made-up boys.
