Posted: 8/30/05 at 12:41amMaybe I'm just weird, but I find myself attached to certain films due to the instrumental music playing in the background. Like one of the reasons I loved Titanic when it came out was because of the music. I know that's kinda weird, but I love instrumental music.

Heck, the instrumental music is the only reason to watch The Hours.
But sometimes I can hate a movie because of its score...personally, I HATE the score to Cold Mountain and I actually left the theatre mad about it.

I have a weird talent to recognize music from movies. Not the easy recognizable music, like from Titanic. But the opening music in the movie Liar Liar, for example..
I also fell in love with the score from The Hours.

yeah the Garden State soundtrack is fantastic...it really did like change my life....
but the score to the Lord of the Rings just made the movie so much more enjoyable than it already was.... i think that has to be my favorite movie score, other than classics like Gone With the Wind
