Mateo - thanks. It's just a skin thing . . . that itches. Hence, I have scratched myself to shreds in what little sleep I get 
Honestly, I realize every moment that there are MUCH worse things I could have to deal with.
But I'd give ANYTHING for this to stop! It's been months now, and I really am tired of dealing with it

Trust me, Taz, the music is a-blastin'
Also, since the treatment center is blocks away from the beach in Santa Monica, I rent a bike and ride down to Venice and back - which is one of my favorite things to do. Of course, I make sure and take a break by the public wash-house to watch the surfers peel off their rubber suits and rinse off. All-in-all, it's not a bad day

SM2 - it's NOT contagious! Otherwise, the TinMan would be covered in more than rust. It's just some form of exzema/dermatitus, and it's taking everything everyone can throw at it to make it go away!
And Mateo, yes, we live 'way out here' in Rancho Cucamonga (just north of Ontario.) It generally suits our needs - except in this situation!

I enjoy Modest Mouse.
I must confess I like their more mainstream hits like "Float On," but everything I have heard from them, I like.

Circa 1980. And all I can say is that I was 6'2", tan, and blond haired blue-eyed in a beach town. A military beach town. With a virtual buffet of sailors and surfers. There were aspects of my youth that were appreciated
