I will never forget it, ya know! 1998, the two divas both sang at some charity concert. Cher showed up late, in a mess and lip syched three songs after a long long delay. The Divine Miss M came out swinging and took the Half-breed to task, ending with "And I'm singing live, BABE!"
But really as feus go that's pertty unimpressive. You'd think these dueling divas could really throw down, like the broads in days of old did. Like when Tallulah Bankhead said of Bette Davis "we're really the dearest of friends...Anything I have to say, I say right to her face...either of them!"
