Anyone who tries to get me to stop drinking Diet Coke will certainly suffer a "Health Issue." I know that much for sure.

I notice the article didn't say whether either of these two were diagnosed with diabetes. I'm willing to bet they were, especially since they were pregnant. Excessive thirst is one of the classic signs of diabetes and I bet they both had gestational diabetes. I also wonder whether either of the two babies had any health issues as a result.

They may have diabetes but the excessive thirst may have nothing to do with it. Most colas have so much sugar/sodium that it fails to quench your thirst for a significant amount of time.
