Posted: 9/4/05 at 6:55pmApparently Hofstra is, which suprises me since they barely help their own students when they have problems.

Posted: 9/7/05 at 4:53pmMiddlebury College (in VT) is. I don't know how many. We're already in a housing crunch (there are people living in lounges) so it'll be interesting to see how it all works out, but I'm sure we'll figure it out. I'm actually helping to introduce them to campus. The good thing for them is that we don't start classes for another week, so they won't have to catch up (unlike people who will go to other schools.)

Syracuse is offering free tuition, and some free housing, even though we already are having a housing crisis and are past capacity. They are arranging for off-campus housing for the others. The staff at the admissions and the housing offices worked through the holiday weekend and over 100 students have already started, but over 400 students have already contacted them, so they're trying to fit in as many as possible. They're even offering free tuition for students that want to be placed in our abroad programs.
My friend goes to American too!

I've seen some Tulane students around here at Carnegie Mellon for the semester.
But I don't know anything about the EXACT offer. There's flyers all over the place about CMU taking in displaced students, though...

Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland (my alma mater) has reserved up to 8 spaces for displaced students for the fall semester.
It is a small liberal arts college.
