Apparently Hofstra is, which suprises me since they barely help their own students when they have problems.

My teeny little school in PA is offering up 15 spots. Which, trust me, is quite a bit.

Middlebury College (in VT) is. I don't know how many. We're already in a housing crunch (there are people living in lounges) so it'll be interesting to see how it all works out, but I'm sure we'll figure it out. I'm actually helping to introduce them to campus. The good thing for them is that we don't start classes for another week, so they won't have to catch up (unlike people who will go to other schools.)

The daughter of someone I know is going to a school in upstate NY, but I don't know what it's called.
Jess- which song is your signature from?
Syracuse is offering free tuition, and some free housing, even though we already are having a housing crisis and are past capacity. They are arranging for off-campus housing for the others. The staff at the admissions and the housing offices worked through the holiday weekend and over 100 students have already started, but over 400 students have already contacted them, so they're trying to fit in as many as possible. They're even offering free tuition for students that want to be placed in our abroad programs.
My friend goes to American too!
I've seen some Tulane students around here at Carnegie Mellon for the semester.
But I don't know anything about the EXACT offer. There's flyers all over the place about CMU taking in displaced students, though...
Ashley, in answer to your question, the song is "Louder Than Words."
My school (Northwestern) is! :) and my friend who had just started at Tulane is going abroad to London through Syracuse, which I think is so cool for one's first semester in college.

Arizona State University is! I know we are taking some LSU students and I believe we are also taking the Tulane Architecture students. I know we are taking other Tulane students because a guy just moved in onto my floor.
