It appears that the huge "up front" costs of universal healthcare will mean Obama will have to consider going back on a campaign promises & consider taxing employer paid benefits it is reported.

Now people who have been clamoring for it will start to see the real cost of "free" health care. Free generally means someone else pays for it. Now, it appears, we all will.

Well...yeah. Obama never promised that doctors and hospitals would DONATE health care.

That's what this nation's about, Roxy. And what makes it so great. The priveliged (me and you) help to set up a safety net for those who are less fortunate. Everyone should have the same rights.

Piragua, I've always loved that my inner-city school students are able to go to the doctor every time they sneeze, yet I can't because I am usually unable to pay the deductible on my insurance. Where's my safety net?
