"It Takes Two" cut from film?

I'm sure this has already been posted, but I searched and couldn't find anything. Why was "It Takes Two" cut from the Hairspray movie? All they had was the tale end of it. I kept thinking they were going to stick it in somewhere else cause I know it's on the CD.

No your movie skipped,
because they have this whole dance routine with fireworks and llamas. Man that sucks tell your theatre.

The very end of the song is in the movie, which is why it's on the soundtrack. It's when they announce the open spot on the show.
