It is not the 4th of July unless................

I hear " Stars and Stripes Forever" by John Phillips-Sousa. I learned to play this when I was about 10 years old and played in outdoor concerts in the town I grew up in. My music teacher actually had me memorize it and I can still play it from memory today. I always led played any of Sousa's marches such as the Liberty Bell, The Washington Post March and many others. But I also think of my beloved music teacher who is long gone.
