That lovely time of year where the leaves turn colors, pumpkins abound, and you sit next to a fire with warm apple cider. I love it!

This is 'late summer' in California.
all I pray for is 70's from here on into "early spring" ie. Winter.

I love Autumn, although it's also one of the saddest times of the year for me. It's weird how I can love it so much and dread it at the same time.
I guess it's just impossible to hate. Pretty colors, crisp air, apple cider, la la la!

Yes fall is the best season.
One of the best places to go is to Pennsylvania on the highways in the hills and mountains, in the middle of fall. It is so beautiful! I enjoy it so much!
It's as if it is a huge collage of the beautiful colors!
Plus, they have great stuff to sell for Fall decorating! (Not just Pa.)

This is, no doubt, my favorite time of year. Every morning, I'm reminded how blessed I am to live in New England. Crisp, cool mornings, the changing colors, the rustle of leaves in the breeze. Pumpkins, apples, apple cider, Halloween, butternut squash.
It doesn't get much better than this!
Although it is unseasonably warm here today...

Yes, this is true, BUT as a lifelong resident of the Pocono Mountains I beg all of you coming to visit our area to please PULL OFF THE ROAD when you are looking at our wonderful backyards as it is very annoying to drive behind someone going 15 mph in a 45 or 50 mph zone.

Posted: 10/9/06 at 4:53pmOh, I adore fall. Most years in the fall, I head to Gatlinburg, TN. I haven't been able to the last couple of years. The mountains roll and the colors are breathtaking. There really is some lovely scenery here, as well. (it's just not my Gatlinburg.)

I Love the fall season because of the following:
1. Pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks
2. Pumpkin candles
3. crisp fall air with seasonal change to the leaves
4. We gain an extra hour of sleep(daylight savings)
