walked by today and the Theatre district JR's is closed.
Seems the whole half of block may soon be gone.
Anyone know what's happening?

Barrymore's isn't closing just yet, but it is owned by The Shubert Orginization and odds are going that when the lease is up in late 2006, Shubert won't renew it.
You still have time with that one.
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...

Though not my favorite, still a staple on 17th Street for many, many years. Now that the Frat House and Badlands have morphed into different identities.
