JOE MILLIONAIRE -- WTF?

I caught my one and only episode of JM last night -- actually, the last 30 minutes. WTF? Granted, pictures of the boy shirtless could inspire certain men to do things they would never think of doing, but the moment he opens his mouth -- Erg. My partner and I cracked up when he said something like "I seen you and fell in love." They were trying to pass this guy off as a millionaire??? Perhaps he should have said something like:
"When I done gone up yonder to that there boarding school in New York, I seen and learnt a bunch of good english, but it ain't never took with me -- I don't be cottoning to no fancy education."
I'm truly scared of television these days. The only heartening thing is that this edition of JM didn't pull in any viewers. Could the american public be wising up? I think not, but I'll light a candle, anyway.

Wait until he has to start paying taxes on his new spread & has to ask his beloved for some of her money to pay the taxes. Lets see how true love actually is

They were trying to pass him off as a real American cowboy who happened to get lucky and strike oil. So in that case it works. I think Joe Millionaire hit its peak last season though. I don't know of anybody who bothers watching it anymore.

Oh god, One Note Roxy trills over here too. People who take luxury trips to Hawaii should just zip their lips about taxes.
RL, I believe JM would have used the actual pronounciation: "edjoomickation."

Wow. You mean that's really not how it's spelled and pronounced? There goes everything I ever thought I knew out the window.
