Check it out on the Broadway Cares website, Lwyr. It's a charity fundraising event where, basically, hot Broadway men and women strip for money! They literally do pole work and whatnot.
Oh, yeah, there are actual musical numbers and stuff as well, but I think most people are there for the pole. :)

I saw an Oprah episode not too long ago about how women are installing 'dance' poles in their bedrooms...

It's an interesting idea.

I wonder if any hotels in NY provide fantasy bedrooms with poles. For a hot little get-away... It's an interesting marketing idea.
