no, it's not a big affirmative...but when they drop you into the middle of a sales pitch by some vendors because you're going to be the one they train on the new system (and it's then going to be your job to, quite literally - not figuratively! - teach about 200 people to use the program), then you know you'll be around once the budget is waning.

We shall see! I'd still drop this all if I could get my stupid teaching resume (CV) revised and looking good. I figure if three of my classmates could get posh teaching jobs at good universities with no more teaching experience than I had, I have to be able to get posh teaching jobs at least a crappy university. :) I'd much prefer that.

undergrad.
And I really just mean good university in that the programs they're involved with are fairly decently-funded...for theatre programs.
See, this is why I kick myself evry now and then for getting a terminal degree in a field where most colleges need about 5 teachers when, if I had stuck with the original grad program, I'd be fielding a degree in which most schools staff about 80 teachers...

*rushes into thread waving frantically*

I need about $100,000 right now to bid on all the Raoul/Patrick items on the e-bay auction. Since it's British Pounds plus shipping costs it'll be pricey...

Anyone have some spare change???!!!!

We're talking Raoul's leather gloves and riding boots...
and his sword...

Oh, and YUM to the pecorino ravioli with asparagus and proscuitto. And a glass of Sancerre. And creme brulee with blood oranges. And chocolate truffle cake.

after a week of saltines and ginger ale (minus the french toast and a salad - neither of which were a good idea!), I decided to go for it!

Plus, I have plans to drink champagne all evening, so a food base is always a good idea! Jack Jobs

The chocolate truffle cake was a little dull, compared to some of Cookie's truffles...but the creme brulee was inspired with BLOOD ORANGES!

And I'm so glad the Sancerres have returned...no one ever told me they were gone. ;-(

You go girl!

Right now I get one "cheat" day, so reading about fab food makes my mouth water. Last night I had an cajun ahi tuna sandwich... no fries, only 1/2 of the bun... it was good. Gotta get in shape for summer auditions!

NOTHING compares to Cookie's truffles, PalJoey!

ElTico, I have zero disclipine when it comes to food right now. ZERO. I need to get outside and go running again!

Getting outside it a good thing!

I'm hoping to have a fun outdoorsy weekend... maybe go for a hike somewhere.

and I am secretly delighted that it's supposed to rain tomorrow because I plan to spend the day in my jammies sleeping and doing nothing. (Until I go out for dinner and a movie!)
