I just knew it Addy and dont' get me started. :)
Ask AndyHardy.
we could talk for hours and hours and hours...
Best book, best movie and if you can believe this best BBC mini series 1978. If only I could get a copy of it. Imagine - better than the movie.
I remember that mini-series, and have searched high and low to try to get a copy. (My mom loves it more than anybody I know!). I will keep searching... I adored it.
YES!!! If anyone can, Addy can!
Damn, now I want to go to the morning room instead of working.
I find English manor houses to be quite cozy.
so do I, Glebby!
I'm thinking of re-decorating my office...
LOL! Love it!!!!
Undi, I saw a little bit of that... great idea for a series.
ck, I wouldn't mind being in a Manor house right now. In the Cotswolds.
I'd take Maxim's boat house.
bye, Undi! Have a nice morning...
I'll take this place... or anywhere in Chipping Campden!
Note to self: plan another trip to the Cotswolds!
*sigh*
Chipping Campden ivy...
and gardens... (a little small...but you get the idea.)
Ready.to.kill.someone.
First, coworker drama (how these people can claim to be so smart when they're so stupid is beyond me).
Then, cell phone drama (this is what I get for not making sure I missed $5 on my phone bill...it's shut off!).
Now, more agency drama as I just found out it might be another 6 weeks for my direct deposit to start as they had vendor problems and are switching.
Days like this call for Calgon.
The English Manor Hourse series was hysterical in terms of examining how 21st century mores can function in 19th century values... The piss ot behind the screen in the dining room, for example...
oh, wait. I'm confusing the the two different English Manor houses that PBS did. There was one that was "Jane Austen"-like where they had several eligible young bachelors and bachelorettes under the guidance of chaperones meet and greet. It was like a weird Victorian take on The Bachelor/Bachelorette
oh yay. Phone's working again. It's so nice.
I warn you all, steer clear of Sprint. Far, far clear.
Yay for bway! I steered clear of Sprint two years ago....
Undi: Still trying to find the show I was watching...
Regency House Party!

I find myself watching really bad TV when I've given up TV... Well, at least the bad TV was on PBS...
which is my excuse for when I do watch really bad TV
