Anyway, back to me. Just got back from my first general auditions ever. God... it's so nerve wracking. That's why I hate auditioning. Go up, sing your songs, do your monologue, you're outta there. And the worse part is that I couldn't hear the accompanist, so I got totally lost in my music. Ugh. Oh well, I'm hoping to get called back for CATS, and he's going to be hiring dancers who can sing, and have singers in the pit. If only I can make it to call backs... There are several other shows in the season, but I'm really only interested in CATS. I'd love to do Once on This Island, but being that he's doing ethnic casting and I'm not black, my chances are pretty slim.
