So...I get an e-mail from an "Insider" telling me Patrick is singing at tonights Yankee game. So I get YES and ESPN cued up and I'm thinking I'll catch even a snippet if they come back early from commerical.

Nothing.
Nada.
Zip.
Zilch.

Well, a fan just posted over on Patrick's fan site "The Lair" (www.patrickwilson.org) that she had a friend attending the game who called her via cell when Patrick sang and left it as a VM.

Apparently he was in absolutely stupendous voice tonight before the sell out crowd. She says he sounds amazing. He nailed the word "free" beautifully and the crowd went "wiiiild"--and they really gave him a resounding ovation when he finished.

Darn you YES and ESPN for robbing us of that moment!
