My mother once tried to start a specialized business planning yacht charters. "Sandcastle Yacht Charters" I believe was her name. It was a wonderful idea, her brokering the connection between the yacht crews and the customer, booking the flight arrangements, even helping plan the route of the charter, if needed. But there wasn't enough of a market in the suburbs of Buffalo for such a high end service.

I suggest we do this. Take it national. Who wants to fund us?

Happy Monday. It is so nice in Chicago that I, normally grumpy, am in a good mood. Busy week at home. The youngest will have his "golden" seventh birthday on Thursday.

I was referring to the unknown team I'm singing for. They won the Larson fellowship award and get to spend a year or some other obscene amount of time working with Ahrens and Flaherty on their project.
