How can you say that? It's not as if they have done similar movies. Tobey was Spiderman, and Jake was just recently in a movie about a global warming that could potentially destroy the universe (Day After Tomorrow... great movie)

And plus, Jake is much hotter than Tobey. Tobey is quite ugly, in my opinion. Jake is just so cute in this geeky sort of way. I just love him!

They're both young guys with similarly blank-looking faces. If pressed, I think I'd say Gyllenhal is better-looking, but I'm not really attracted to either of them.

Years after seeing October Sky in fifth grade, I thought that Tobey Maguire had starred in it. That's pretty similar.

I prefer Tobey, though, both in terms of acting and in looks. I find myself entirely neutral about Jake's looks.
