Scene: Norman Maine IN BED, overhearing the convo in the other room, about his being washed up and everything....one of the most overlooked, greatest (silent) scenes of human anguish ever filmed. Just devastating...

I have always thought that Mason was never given the acting credit he deserved, notwithstanding his long career.
