Jennifer Coolidge

Anyone else love her? I am watching "Joey" right now lol, and she is hilarious. In every role she plays she cracks me up. That voice alone haha.

re: Jennifer Coolidge

OMG, I love her in A Mighty Wind and Best in Show!

"Thank God for model trains. If it weren't for them we wouldn't have had the idea for the big ones."
But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

re: Jennifer Coolidge

I've never seen "A Mighty Wind," is it worth renting? I seriously love her.

"I'm taking the dog.... dumbass!"

re: Jennifer Coolidge

Love her in "A Mighty Wind", "Best in Show" and "Legally Blonde".
- My snap was all over the place! -

A MIGHTY WIND is worth owning.
I might have to put that DVD in tonight.

Oh man, keep quoting her you guys, it's so funny. Did you ever see her guest star on "Friends?" She was Amanda: Phoebe and Monica's friend who picked up a fake British accent while living in London.

"Look at me, look how young I look. Touch my abs, I don't exercise at all."

I LOVE A Mighty Wind! I know I'm in the minority, but it's my favorite Christopher Guest film. It cracks me up EVERY time. Fred Willard is a freaking genius!!! Totally worth renting/owning. If you don't have Best in Show, I think Best Buy (at least the one near me) has a package set w/ both for $15 or something.

I love her in Best in Show

"We can talk or not talk for hours."
"During this performance, please feel free to let your cell phones and pagers ring willy-nilly. However, do remember that there are heavily-armed knights on stage and you might well be dragged up and impaled." (Pre-curtain announcement at the new Broadway musical Monty Python's Spamalot)

re: Jennifer Coolidge

The scene in MIGHTY WIND where Bob Balaban is asking the Town Hall guy about the stage "furniture" is hysterical - espcially the way it ends (which was a spontaneous bit that Balaban didn't know was coming).

Dumbass."
"Noah, someday we'll talk again. But there's things we'll never say. That sorrow deep inside you. It inside me, too. And it never go away. You be okay. You'll learn how to lose things..."

re: Jennifer Coolidge

Oh my god, I love that scene Jon. I watched it w/ a friend who'd never seen it before a couple months ago and she about died laughing!

Another favorite of mine is watching in w/ the French language track playing. Fred Willard's first scene is hi.lar.i.ous w/ the French dubbing! Especially the "Put him in a cell with a long hose on him" ditty!!!

re: Jennifer Coolidge

LOL, when I saw the header, the first thing I thought of was the "Thank God for model trains..." line from "Mighty Wind." And I love the running gag of her always eating in "Best in Show."

"A Mighty Wind" is great, well worth seeing, although Jennifer Coolidge has a relatively small role (much smaller than in "Best in Show"). Isn't she in a "Frasier" episode where she is Martin's (John Mahoney's) new German physical therapist?
"In my own little corner..."

re: Jennifer Coolidge

Love her in everything! Remember that Friends episode where she played someone who put on an English accent? Fab.

re: Jennifer Coolidge

Lol yeah that's what I was talking about. She's like, "I feel like a perfect arse." Phoebe goes, "well, in America, you're just an ass."

re: Jennifer Coolidge

Oh, oops sorry Elvis! I should read more carefully.

Did all you guys see that bit where she says 'I feel like a perfect arse.', and Phoebe responds 'Well, in America you're just an ass.'

Haha. That episode is so hilarious because of her.

"Smell my neck. It's not perfume, it's my own personal scent."

It makes me want a hot dog *real* bad.
