Oh, man. Anthony Warlow. He would have been amazing.
The funny thing about the 80's, 90's is that they tried to update everything for that time period. And they did. But that type of music just didn't survive past those 15 years. But the orchestrations are quite exciting.

Cats,
Allow me to clarify that you are right about the direction of the Farewell Tour. I was misinformed. The Roberts group who represent this leg of the tour clearly did not mention Dallet Norris as the director this, but their press packet to me listed Gayle Edwards.
Dallet Norris is listed in the program and indeed on the JCS tour site. And while I preferred the Norris direction over the Edwards version, I was not thrilled as to how he had tamed this into a Sunday School event.
I had hoped for something in between Edwards lunacy, imo and Norris' sleeper. That being said, Ted Neeley IS this production. If Jesus stepped into this role, he would play it as Ted Neeley. Corey Glover, while powerful is not well matched with the mild mannered Neeley nor can he stir up any angst angst for the role.
Let's say..This overall production is "pleasant" like your father's JCS.
