Jobs in the Theatre ... Cover Letters

Does anyone have any experience applying for jobs in the theatre? If so, what sort of information did you include in your resume and, IN PARTICULAR, the cover letter.

What type of job are you looking for? It's different if you are applying for an acting position or a technical position. Do you have a lot of experience or are you just starting out?

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I have a basic cover letter set up for applying, but I think it is still missing something.

Theatre business jobs ... press agents, general managers, producers, etc.

In a cover letter, you have to sell yourself. Every organization is asking the question "what can this person do for us?" Make sure your cover letter summarizes what you can do for the organization that another canidate can't do as well as you.
