This movie is really charming and definitely under appreciated. It captures the early 60s time period very well. It finally came out on DVD a couple of months ago. Wish it had some extras on it, but I'm glad that it's available now.

I LOVED this movie! I learned to appreciate it more when I got older and learned about Roger Corman and all those sci fi movies of the 50's and 60's. I LOVED John Goodman in this. Here's a question, why doesn't Joe Dante do more movies? I love his work!

I am a huge Dante fan and this is one of his best. A truly unique comedy that captures his sensibilities brilliantly.

The movie-in-the-movie MANT is worth the price of admission. Great scene-stealing performances by Cathy Moriarty and Kelli Martin.
