Posted: 10/5/04 at 4:49pmAccording to a John Waters interview in The Boston Phoenix, Knoxville really wanted to appear nude in American Grizzly after learning of the whole bear thing while making A Dirty Shame. But the mag editors told him their readers wouldn't be interested.
