I don't know anything about the gal herself, but I know I love her music and her voice. Very chill. (Didja see her with Melissa Etheridge at the Grammys? Awesome.)

No, Ellie, you're right. For some reason, when she performs those songs live, she rocks them like nothing I've ever seen, but the recording just didn't work at all.
And Tiff, I felt so bad for her at the Grammys - it was all about Melissa and she was really swept under the rug.

Yeah, it was about 80% about Melissa, and Joss was an afterthought. But really, Melissa was just sensational that night. What was up with Joss's barefoot thing though? Strange. When did you see her live? What type of venue?

A few months ago she performed 5 songs from Mind, body and Soul at the Columbus Circle Borders. It was incredible. Then I got the CD home and was like, "huh??"

Thanks everyone! I get to see her live tomorrow at the Dasani Festival w/ Kelly Clarskon (got a Meet -n- Greet), Gavin DeGraw, Michael Tolcher and Better than Ezra and I thought I'd listen to her album on the drive to STL.
