That's outrageous. I am glad the judge put a stop to it. Imagine how embarrassing for that child when everyone teases her "You don't even know how to spell Tallulah!?!"

To JoeKv99 -- Technically, the original spelling is "Talulla"; Tallulah is a variant.

Also, I'd like to point out that this "outrageous" name would be perfectly legal in the USA, which does not regulate naming.

Unfortunately, Mamie, I think it is because they regard their child as little more than a pet, especially when they are tiny.

If she wants to go by Tallulah Duzthehula (and who wouldn't) she can wait till she's old enough to pick her own drag name. That's what my brother Patti o'Furniture always said.

I kind of like Rumer (as in Rumer Godden). Scout, I guess, is from "To Kill a Mockingbird," right?

So I guess two literary allusions and one campy reference.

As someone said, I'd take any of those over Apple.
