Posted: 5/27/09 at 9:58pmCan I get a little love for this severely underrated comic genius? I've never seen anyone who is so disciplined and committed about acting like a bimbo (maybe Anna Faris). EARTH GIRLS ARE EASY, her inspired Madonna parody MEDUSA, DARE TO BE TRUTHFUL, "I Like 'Em Big and Stupid", and that politically incorrect masterpiece "The Homecoming Queen's Got a Gun" (which has a lot more bite in the post-Columbine era). I even loved her curtailed sketch-comedy series "The Edge" and her uneven rip on the Tonya Harding/Lorena Bobbitt scandals. Last I saw her, she was doing a guest spot on (gasp) HANNAH MONTANA, yet still pouring in every ounce of invention that she could.
I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."

She re-did "Homecoming Queen" during the election as "The Ex-Beauty Queen has got a Gun" about Sarah Palin.
I got her autograph and she signed it "Stay bitchin', babe!" She's OK by me.
