Because deep in my heart, deeply rooted in my heart and mind, marriage is associated with man and woman. So I have a little cultural shock with that. I know. I'm just correcting some misinformation I've read.
And unless all civil marriages are converted to civil unions (which will never happen), civil unions for gays can't and won't work.
