Then there are the Brits version of mushy peas. Now that's gross. But snow peas fresh and the first peas in spring from the garden those are wonderful.
Canned peas are just wrong!
And an image just to make sure you never have mushy peas.

Yes, Cammy.... kind of. I have a book with drawings of peas and they look like the happy little Zoloft guys. So we call them the Zoloft peas
Yes, fresh snow peas are ok. Not my favorite, but they're ok.
