thanks guys...it's just one of those days. I've been weepy, introspective and just not fit company. I was supposed to go to a friend's house tonight and decided I was not up to it.

Isn't that silly.

Oh well. I'm eyeing an apple. That would be a better choice than ice cream.

sounds as if you've got the mean reds, beacs... Totally understandable. We all have days like those. But cheer yourself up with thoughts of your impending trip!

Do you have hot cocoa mix and milk to whip up? To go with your apple?

I have to find the exact quotes. It was Addy who described the mean reds to me. From "Breakfast at Tiffany's." It's the alternative to getting the blues. I'lll try and dig up the quote from the movie that she used.

The mean reds are the WORST!

Hope beacon is feeling much better today and that the Cookie hugs helped.
I've found that they're even BETTER than a trip to Tiffany's!

Hello all.

Pampering is quite important! Certainly a method to drive away those mean reds! Hopefully, they are turning pink by now, Ms. beacon.
