I want to know what the obsession is with making reality shows about celebrity families who do nothing really great. Sure, the older girls run a couple of stores, but that's about it. And honestly, I think the only reason the Kardashians are famous is because their father was O.J. Simpson's lawyer, and now their mother is married to Bruce Jenner. Oh yes, and we also know of Kim's famous sex tape too. LOL!
Yes, I'll admit I watch this trash. I don't know why, but it's somehow entertaining. I just can't get over how bad of an influence the mom and the older girls seem to have on the 2 little girls. Okay, some things are obviously stretched, since it's television, but it just seems like the mom is proud by how skanky her 3 daughters are. Plus, have you ever noticed how Bruce always seems to be at home taking care of the younger ones? Nothing wrong with that at all, but I have a feeling the 2 younger girls are probably going to end up being like the older ones someday, and that's just sad. Thoughts?

They keep making them because people keep watching them and, for some reason, find them at least moderately interesting.

It's because Kim has "A big ass and a sex tape," a phrase attached to her by E's "The Soup."
If you Google that phrase, you get over 3200 references to Kim. Her mom must be so proud.

Because it gives viewers like yourself a feeling of immense Olympus-like superiority to watch folks like the Kardashians squirm through their non-problems and tsk-tsk their trashy ways safe from the comfort of your own home.
It's psychologically something I think Caligula would have approved of.

I watch it because it's fun to see my neighborhood on TV. Whenever they show clips of Calabasas, I'm like "I was there an hour ago!!"
It's fun.

I think I've seen one episode. Bruce Jenners leering (or attempting to with his frozen freak face) and yet the way he acts all righteous is even grosser than the tackiness.

Posted: 4/21/08 at 7:02pmYeah, Bruce is really weird. Apparently between 3 marriages, he technically has 10 kids. Okay, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob are only stepkids, but he was around when they were younger. But yeah, with each wife, he had 2.
