I remember visiting Kentucky when I was a kid - there's Mammoth cave, right, and Abe Lincoln's birthplace (I hope that's sort of right, cause if not, I have no idea where I was)...

you are right on both counts. Mammoth cave is really cool. Infact, a whole lot of KY is a giant cave system. the state is almost completely Limestone bedrock (makes for great caves)

Yes, of course the McCoys also had a huge feud with the Martins and they are also in my family!

I am not a fighter though, I don't eat meat so the pig is of no interest.
