I remember visiting Kentucky when I was a kid - there's Mammoth cave, right, and Abe Lincoln's birthplace (I hope that's sort of right, cause if not, I have no idea where I was)...
you are right on both counts. Mammoth cave is really cool. Infact, a whole lot of KY is a giant cave system. the state is almost completely Limestone bedrock (makes for great caves)
Been to Lexington many a times... my ex- went to school at Eastern.
Nice city, great drag shows.
congrats kel
DD are you headed this way anytime soon? Are you talking about Club 141? There is a new one called Club Liquid
No real plans since my ex- is now my ex-... I don't remember the name of the club, it was in the early 90's...
::belated:: congratumalations.
Kel Rel: You are related to the Hatfeilds! I am related to the McCoys!
Lets Feud!
I'm a lover not a fighter..plus I don't believe in fights over livestock..especially a pig! lol Did you know that our families were related?
the only thing I know about the Hatfields and the McCoys comes from the Flinstones episode... are you related to Zeke Flintstone by chance?
I AM Zeke Flintstone..I mean umm..no sorry
Yes, of course the McCoys also had a huge feud with the Martins and they are also in my family!
I am not a fighter though, I don't eat meat so the pig is of no interest.
Zeke is my uncle thrice removed OntheAisle.
Penguin..I think that we are unintenetionally contributing to the rumor that Kentuckians are inbred...we aren't all inbred!
inbreeding or not - any state that produces Bourbon, nectar of the gods, can do no wrong in my book!
So the fact that I know the president of Maker's Mark makes me your new best friend?
You are mine, send some down to Boone and I'll send up a coonskin Cap.
Kelllllllllllllllllllllllllll.................... who's my buddy???????
Hey Kel, I grew up in Alabama, I know from inbred!
lol Those of us near and familiar to Lexington need to get together drink some makers and sing showtunes (my husband will be sitting in a corner crying quietly lol)
your hubby's not a fan of the biz that is show?
not quite...he was forced to sit through West Side Story in High school lit class...that can turn anyone against it. Although he LOVES the Music Man...go figure
Wow he hates WSS but loves Music Man, that seems weird to me.
well he did marry me...he can't be all there in the head!
you should try to woo him back with "The Producers" - brought my Father-in-Law back to the fold...
If it would tour or if it were on DVD I would try..I got him to agree to go see RENT in theaters with me
