I think she gets paid about as much as an average ensemble member on a hit show. A soap actor gets about $30,000 per episode, a lead on a successful primetime show will get something in the lower six digits, and someone carrying a massive hit (like Hugh Laurie) can get $500,000 or more per episode. Outliers like Kelsey Grammer and the Friends cast got $800,000-$1,000,000 per episode towards the end of their runs. SAG minimum for speaking roles is...$700-something per day, I think, just for a little perspective.
"All those chicks are going to grow up to be the Real Housewives of Orange County 2020."
LOL! That's so true. And knowing me, I would totally watch it.
I watched Newport Harbor only because nothing else was on that summer. Can we even count how many shows have spawned from LB? The Hills, Newport Harbor, Newport Harbor: Back For the Holidays or something like that, The City, Bromance (kind of), and Daddy's Girls if you want to get technical. And don't forget the BET versions: Baldwin Hills and Harlem Heights.
What channel are these shows on? I vaguely heard of Laguna Beach, and I've heard of The Hills, but nothing on those other ones. I must be living under a rock.
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2."unleash the girly"

They're on MTV. That will probably explain some of it right there.
I haven't watched this show in a long long time, but Kristin will definitely keep me away from it.
