YEA !!!! I love this movie...I think Diana Ross did a wonderful job...after that it was all down hill for her movie career. Poor dear.

If only they had went with the first two scripts which were gritty and not the draft that Diana/Berry choose which makes Billie into a drug taking Fanny Brice...complete with "My Man" at the end...

Still, Diana is breathtaking and this should have let to even better things - instead - it led nowhere..

Remember what Liza said after she won that same year:

"I think this should have gone to Diana!"
