LSATs (NEED HELP TO PREP FOR TEST NEXT SATURDAY, WILLING TO PAY TOP $$

This is WAY off topic but I'm kind of worried about this so I'm posting this anywhere I can....

I'm taking the LSATs next Saturday (the 15th) and am searching to find ANYONE who has taken the test and could give me a crash course to refresh my memory (I took it in June so I'm a bit out practice). I'm seriously willing to pay top dollar to anyone who can help me out. Can someone email or IM (AIM) me if they are someone who can help and know someone that can. I'll even include a finder's fee to anyone that can help me out (I also hope that no one joke about this...it's very important to me. PLEASE contact me if you can help.....thanks

Did you review the practice tests? Is there a Sylvan Learning Center near you or some place similar that does practice testing?

I found the test prep books very helpful.

In 1989 I used a Barron's book while working backstage - have your tried that?

I took the test 3 times this past year - Oct/04, Dec/04, Feb/05. I took the Kaplan courses and it didn't help me at all. Buy the book - saves you thousands of dollars and it gives you the same advice.

What's your weakest section? I totally bombed logic games, no matter what I did. My reading comp and logical reasoning were quite good, but those logic games were my Achilles, and the reason I'm writing to you now and not in law school.

What time are your LSATs, bronte?

Every single time I took them, it started at 8 or 8:30am, and I was still half asleep, but I know sometimes it starts late morning/early afternoon!

I'm just so bitter that a ridiculous and irrelevant standardized test put less-committed individuals into university spots that should've gone to me.

No, not at all. It is a silly test used by law schools, but there must be some standard criteria. Grades, etc. are subjective. It was shocking at the end of the first semester to see who got the best grades. Although the lists posted were my number, we all learned who did well and who did not. Some of the loud mouths in semester 1 were not loud in semester 2.

I am just recalling the ritual of going to the board when you heard that grades were posted.

I have about a billion books. I did the Kaplan thing too but I think it was a total waste of money.

I'm taking the test at 8am...the first time I took it, it started at 12noon I think....THAT was nice.

I guess I'll just keep hitting the books..the only bad thing is that I work full time and by the time I get home I do NOT want to study, I just want to go to sleep. I have this weekend and I think I'm going to take off next Friday (the day before the test)and try to cram.....
