Omigosh! I had to ask if anyone here saw the show tonight?!? I was shocked with the judges selections. I am so happy Ant made it to the house but some of the other choices were awful..for example...the blonde who used the c-word.

Just wondering what you thought.

Ant was great....and I think that the blonde girl just got the vote because she took a risk. I didn't think she was that great. I thought that the older guy was great and I was surprised that he didn't get picked.

I thought Ant was not very funny (sort of). I don't like how he used his sexuality for his routine...he can't use that his whole career.

Ant was no Mario Cantone, though that's clearly his model. He was blandly personable, but also proved that gay people are not necessarily funnier than straight people without sharp material. I thought he made it because -- tears in his eyes -- he played the "Daddy likes me, he really likes me" card.

Since these people have to share a house for a while, I wonder how much the personality mix plays into the decision. Look at what they ened up with, the gay man along with the dude who announced "I'm in the house, those other comics better watch out", they have the gutsy "ain't taking no BS" woman and the hunk.

They may not all have been the best comics but the mix will make for inetresting viewing
