What part of town is Law and Order shot in?
Particularly SVU. Does anyone know?

Posted: 6/17/07 at 9:14pmL&O is, well at least used to be, shot over various parts of NYC, NY, & NJ. I don't know if each show has specific areas, but I know a few times L&O have filmed in or near my area in North Jersey.

Posted: 6/18/07 at 10:06amAs far as the actual studios for the indoor sets are concerned, they are probably in Astoria, where there are several studios (the Cosby Show and several soaps taped there), or possibly on Chelsea Piers (where Spin City was filmed).
