Hmm...hard to sum up. The re-run should be on USA sometime next week but here goes(READ AT YOUR OWN RISK):
Lou Diamond Phillips kidanapped a brother and sister and murdered their parents. The team is on the hunt for him when they recieve a call that he was just at the bank and is coming back soon. The team fills the bank with undercover officers and stuff like that. Stabler stands infront of the bank clerk to prep him on what to say. The clerk sees LDP coming and tells Stabler. Stabler walks away but the clerk flips out and stares, shaking at LDP. LDP runs and everyone chases him. When Benson finds him he has the little girl in his hands. Stabler is on his way when he sees the little boy standing by himself. He goes to get him but hears screaming and turns around. LDP pulls out a knife and slashes Benson across the neck. She collapses and LDP grabs the boy and runs away. After a short inner debate, Stabler goes to help Benson. Benson tells him to go find the kids. When he gets to the roof he sees Fin who tells him LDP slashed the boys neck and ran away with the girl. Stabler is pissed with himself for not grabbing the boy when he could. Benson confronts him to which he says something along the lines of: It's your fault. You should have shot LDP when you had the chance. I can't be looking out for you. Benson storms out. Through a chip Benson is able to get all the locations LDP has been. She is hunting when Stabler finds evidence that LDP took the kids to a military base. They find it on the list and go in. Its an old abandoned warehouse. They call for back up and split up inside the building. Benson hears Stabler scream. She finds LDP has him and gun point and is threatening to kill him. Stabler is screaming for Benson to kill him, clearly still bitter that she missed him before. They stand infront of eachother for about 7 minutes talking about where the girl is. All along LDP is threatening to kill Stabler if Benson doesn't put down her gun. They are screaming at eachother when a S.W.A.T. sniper shoots LDP from the roof. They hear the girl scream and locate her. Benson and Stabler talk and decide that they care about eachother too much which is preventing them from doing their jobs. The episode ends with Benson going in to Cpt. Cragens office and say: "I want a new partner."
Hope I did it justice. This episode was truly amazing! I just don't know how Hargitay does it. She was so athletic this episode and due in June!
