Lawsuit: Marketing Blamed in Wal-Mart Trampling Death

A complaint filed today in New York State Supreme Court in the Bronx on behalf of survivors of the fallen worker, Jdimytai Damour, claims that besides failing to provide adequate security, Wal-Mart "engaged in specific marketing and advertising techniques to specifically attract a large crowd and create an environment of frenzy and mayhem," according to published reports.

Really??? Marketing??

We had a story in today's paper about a 25 year old local Best Buy employee who was killed driving home last Friday night after a 12 hour shift beginning at 3 a.m. He crossed the center line, hit two cars and they hit two other cars. Two drivers are in serious condition. They strongly believe that he fell asleep at the wheel.

I OBJECT!
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

I agree with the complaint - the store advertises amazing bargains and then puts it in the advertisement that there are only 5 of each items for that price , the remaining ones of the same item are higher. This creates an atmosphere of "I have to be the first in the store" and thats what caused the death.

Walmart should not only be ashamed, they should be held accountable.
