Les Mis Song Question

Would it be inappropriate to use a 32 bar cut from "Red, Black" for an audition? I was thinking either the Marius section beginning with "If you'd been there tonight you might know how it feels..." to his "the color of despair!" or beginning with Enjolras: "It is time for us all to decide who we are..." to his "black, the nights that ends at last."

I think it'd just be best to stay away from Les Mis in general. It's really over done

Please don't do Les Mis! Ever since the movie people think they know everything about musical if they saw the movie. Its often viewed by directors at newbies to musicals and won't give you a proper chance, unless your amazing, because you just look like someone who hasn't a clue about musicals except for Les Mis
