I was just wondering whether there is an Original Dutch Cast (1991) of Les Miz. I have looked on iTunes and on p2p and all I can seem to find is the song 'Nog één dag (One Day More)'.

Can someone please give me a link to purchase it or download, etc.

Was that with Henk Poort as Valjean? He was good on the 10th Anniversary Concert. Only sang about two lines, but still!

Yes you are right - that was Henk Poort as Valjean, Pia Douwes as Fantine, Vera Mann as Eponine, Paul de Leeuw and Simone Kleinsma as the Thenardiers, etc.

MYB, you're the local LM record expert (22, was it?), so I thought I might ask;

I have the OLCR, Full Symph and French Concept. I know there's a double you can get which is the French Concept and a Symphonic French version. Is that Symphonic French version the 1991 Paris recording with Marienne & Co. that you raved about?

I think it's 22 -- I can never remember.

Anyway, if you're referring to the newest French release, called something like "Le Integral," it's simply a re-issue of the original French concept recording (1980) and the 1991 Paris cast recording with Marienne, Pitre, etc.

I should have gotten that instead of just the French Concept. Darn it!
