I just wanted to plug my little blog and my interview with Leslie Jordan, the wonderful character actor, probably best known to everyone from Will & Grace, Murphy Brown, and countless other guest roles. He also has a great new book out, My Trip Down the Pink Carpet, about being an openly gay actor in Hollywood.

nmmartin. Was it his solo show you saw or was he a guest artist with a chorus?

I'd be interested to hear what type of material he did.

It was his solo show with same title as his new book. He did great material about growing up gay, coming out, Faye Dunaway, Mark Harmon, his recovery from alcohol and drugs and the whole thing was strung together with 70s disco songs. He said, "This is OUR music." For an old gay boy my age, it resonated. Check his website for tour dates and cities.
