Just wanted to share this editorial with everyone written by an aquaintance of mine for a local queer paper. Gwen is an amazing trans activist, and she always makes some very interesting points - but this one has a certain "freak factor" that I thought resounds on the boards here from time to time - hope you enjoy it.

Absolutely! My favorite passage :

"The thing is, not a single one of us is so magically normative as to be able to truly take the mantle of separating the freaks out from everyone else. We are all freaks to someone. Maybe even to ourselves."

Cheeze, I did not see your last post and thought the same thing. I do not know personally any transgendered or transexuals. Interesting article.
