That picture is classic Liberace.
I remember one special in the 70s where they flew Liberace. God it was funny. He said something about doing his bit for the energy crisis.

I rented an incredible documentary from NETFLIX about LIBERACE. It was hosted by one of the Lawrence Welk regulars who was a close friend of Liberace. His life is pretty incredible but what amazed me was how people accepted him for who he was, even back then. Liberace was on some talk show and the interviewer asked him why he hadn't settled down and married yet. Liberace said well, I guess I just haven't met the right girl yet and then started laughing as if everyone was in on the joke. We have no Liberaces or entertainers like him today. I must have been born in the wrong decade because I like way too many stars who are long gone and hardly anyone who we have today.
