Abba - with all due respect to Corine - If she was actually seriosuly depressed - a message board wouldn't be the best nor the first way to heal thyself. Given her several similar posts about how it sucks to be her and lovingly quoting Avenue Q - it's entirely likely and probably that this is just a post that she thought would be cute.

i have not seen avenue q, but i do know that she has been dealing with alot.
even if she isn't being serious, that doesn't give people any right to make fun of her.

Abba - if ANYONE posted the same thread, I am sure their thread would be met with the same reaction. It's not about Corine. It's about the fact that someone would post something completely vague and then just leave.

If you want to discuss something - start an actual discussion.

And if you are starting a conversation - you don't "exit" after one post.

You're very sensitive to be concerned - but I wouldn't worry too much about the other posters in this thread, nor Corine this evening.

Abba, have you noticed that people post overly dramatic and outrageous threads all the time and then the drama turns out to be about absolutely NOTHING? I have a feeling this is one of those times.

I don't like these "Bye" posts. I'm calling Corine tomorrow if she hasn't posted. When I think of how I worried sick about Rath when she did her "Bye," only to have her be Jumanjied by the CotD thread as if nothing had ever happened.

Abba, shouldn't you be oveseeing your acne treatment thread? That is a very pressing issue, especially on a theatre website. Actors and their complexions, you know. They need you there.

no one seems to be able to justify making fun of her, in fact, you just answer my question by making fun of me. that tells me you have no idea why you feel the need to make fun of someone who's never done anything to you... so i'm going to bed. you all do whatever it is that makes you feel like important smart people.

Abba. Perhaps there is history you're not aware of. If you're going to point the fingers at people in this thread, remember this expression "when you point a finger at someone, three fingers point back at you" (try it - you'll see those fingers in your hand pointing back.

My point is that you're judging people you don't know about things you do not know. And no one ever OWES another an explanation.
