Posted: 2/1/08 at 10:08amI took Karen's class a few months ago and it completely turned me around on monologues. I'm an older actor (recently returned to school so I'm a student too!), and have always hated monologues. Now I'm a monologue junkie. In a nutshell, her web site, book, and class pointed out WHY I've hated them for so long and how to turn that around. I REALLY recommend that you read that web site carefully. Look deep enough and you will see the comments from thse who scored these monologues as overdone and their feelings about them. They'll help you shape your future monologue choices.
