Orion - I love the fact that you also put EDITH Bunker on your list! Archie was iconic, no arguements, but Edith grew and changed so much over the years - it was amazing to watch (especially as portrayed by the incredible Ms. Stapleton.) It remains my vote for best series on American Television.

And I also LOVE that you topped your list with Endora - I always wanted to be her

I always thought Edith was one of the best written characters in television history. She could easily have remained the air headed, subservient wife who exisited on the show just for comic value. Instead we got to many sides of her during the course of the show including the hidden strength that held that family together.
