Little Beauties on VH1

Anyone ever seen this? 8 Year Olds competing in beauty pageants. They looks so plastic, its crazy.

I haven't seen that one, shira, but I've seen Living Dolls (it was on HBO a few years ago, and it was excellent). Anyone remember little Swan? The hair extensions on the infants?

VH1 has some really ****ty shows. I can't even fathom it all sometimes.

Is it like the girls at the end of LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE or is it even worse?

I watched it. Times sure have changed from when I judged pageants. The hair/makeup is completely out of control, and that repulsive pro-am thing? What IS that??

This show made me sick to my stomach. I couldn't believe they had a swim suit competition... what are they judged on for that, who had the best body?! It made me sick.

So I did end up watching it. I feel like if they were dolls, and my mommy bought me one when I was their age, I would have cried out of horror. And their mothers!! You KNOW they're only living through their daughters. "Yes, she wants this SOO badly"...yeah. Wonder if she REALLY knows what's going on.

I saw through the first competition, but then I had to leave. As a former pageant kid, it really made me laugh.
