I am really interested in either Beth or Jo. Any ideas for good songs to sing??

YAYYYY!!!!! I love Little Women!!!!!!!!More people should do it. I was Meg.

I sang "Out of My Dreams" from Oklahoma, and I know the girl who was Beth in my production just kind of sucked it up and sang "Some Things are Meant To Be".
For Beth, I'd probably stick with some old school R&H and keep it in my head nose mix.Something with a really sweet character too. Like "Many a New Day" or a cut from "Something Good "(SOM, but I think just the movie).
This might sound kind of out of the box, but I'd probably do a Cole Porter ballad for Jo, like "Why Can't You Behave" because its really good in a chest mix.

I played Jo! yay! But we all had to sing a song from the show...so I sang Astonishing...

Hold On might work for Jo...but remember, the girl who plays Jo needs to have a huge range...and not just vocally. She needs to have awesome comedic timing/comedic skill and dramatic skill.

If you end up getting cast as Jo, getting through the entire show night after night is insane. It's a very difficult show, but it's so rewarding. Break a leg at your audition!

The whole time I was watching this show I was thinking how wonderful Sutton would be as Belle, so as overdone as it is (as long as this is just a school production):

That'd be convenient seeing as how I just finished being Belle...hahaha
